Skechy has been challenging, but ever rewarding. The project originally centered around remote virtual meetings, and how zoom fatigue can be combatted for distributed teams. However, after exploring the problem space the service then pivoted toward a visual collaboration tool aimed at simplifying creative expression and finding hidden value inside remote meetings.

The last couple of months has seen Skechy evolve once more, and we're currently working on a new take on remote workshops. Watch this space!

What I did on the project:

My role on Skechy has once more revolved around the UI/UX of the project, however my responsibilities have branched into business development and marketing.

I've worked with all type of fidelity mockups, from sketches to full fletched prototypes using Figma.

I've also been driving the methodology behind the service, defining the values, tone of voice and culture around the project.

User interviews have been aplenty, and I've also organised and ran demos with users from around the world.

Multiple interfaces have been created, including an entire template library which I also helped to build using Skechy itself.

What comfort zone?

Whilst working on Skechy I've not only designed a landing page for a marketing campaign, but also produced the copy and the strategy behind it. By utilising keywords to drive traffic toward specifically selected templates, users then landed on a page which acted as a gateway to the service.

There will be a case study coming soon!
